Miami Beach's 23rd St is proposed to be redesigned as a complete street. The project includes semi-protected bike lanes, raised crosswalks, and the possibility of a pedestrian promenade.

The Miami Beach Chapter is monitoring the project, as there have been discussions to remove the bike lanes proposed on phase 1. Also of concern, the introduction of a street light at 23rd Street and Park Ave, which will prioritize single-passenger automobile traffic.
