Where's My Bus?
CONTEXT
In 2018, bus services were faced with three rounds of service cuts, which continued to exacerbate the ridership crisis. With two out of three trips on transit served by buses in Miami, the continued dismantling of the bus system was alarming and misguided.
GOAL
Our 5-part series took a deep dive into the state of our bus system. With visualizations, graphics and original research – it was an engaging examination of the system and proposed four solutions to fix the bus system.
STATUS
Results
We re-framed the misconceptions around bus service in the County, and a year later, we began leading two of the proposed solutions – a redesign of the bus system that integrates key trolley routes.
