2025 Impact Report
Over the past decade, Transit Alliance Miami has grown from a small group of neighborhood advocates into a nationally-recognized movement for better transit, walkable streets, and bikeable neighborhoods across Miami-Dade County. This Impact Report chronicles our journey from saving $15 million in transit funding in 2017 to leading the nation's first advocacy-driven bus system redesign and building a coalition of thousands of residents fighting for a Miami built for people, not cars.
We believe in equipping residents and officials with the information needed to demand better. Our campaigns have resulted in tangible wins: protected bike lanes, prevented fare increases, reduced parking mandates, and a 20% increase in bus ridership following the Better Bus Network implementation.
Looking ahead, this report outlines our strategic vision for expanding grassroots power through neighborhood chapters, championing safe streets infrastructure, demanding government transparency, and protecting the transit gains we've achieved together. We know one thing for sure: organized community voices can reshape how Miami moves.
