Transit Time Index
We built a tool that measures the time it takes to drive or take transit between 100 locations, and created a score called the Transit Time Index, which measures how well (or not) transit can compete versus a typical car journey.
24 Hour Bus Marathon
We embarked on a live 24-hour bus marathon to broadcast a real-time, up-close-and-personal view of the experiences bus riders face as they attempt to navigate and utilize the County's often dysfunctional route network.
To improve the pedestrian experience and raise awareness among drivers with the goal of making walking in Miami safe and stress-free.
City of Miami
Another Sexy Highway
To satirize Miami-Dade Expressway Authority's effort to extend State Road 836 further west and south through a 15-mile section of highway beyond the county’s Urban Development Boundary.
We created the first real-time public transit audit, measuring the on-time performance of arriving trains at Government Center.
Where's My Bus?
Our 5-part series took a deep dive into the state of our bus system. With visualizations, graphics and original research – it was an engaging examination of the system and proposed four solutions to fix the bus system.
We grade the health and performance of our transit system. Combining data, analysis and recommendations, it's designed to guide elected officials, community leaders and transportation planners on how we can move Miami forward, together. It also kicks off our advocacy agenda for the upcoming year by identifying systemic issues standing in the way of building successful mobility in Miami.
Transit Stop Improvements
We transformed a bus stop in Downtown Miami by painting a large-scale mural.
